Hi guys! If you've been following this blog for quite a while, you know how much I love to do tags. They're so much fun to do and it's really interesting to see other people's choices.

So today I'm going to do another tag. I saw this tag at Cristina @ My Tiny Obsessions blog, and it seems so much fun to do. I mean, I only have to pick one from the options, so this one is definitely going to be fun. Let's do it!

The Rules:
  • Mention the creator of the tag (Ayunda @Tea and Paperbacks). (that gorgeous image also originally from her, click on it to go through her website!)
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you!
  • Choose one of the options, you don’t have to tell the reasons why you chose that but you can also do them if you want to.
  • Tag 10 other people to do this tag to spread the love!

#1 Reading on the couch or on the bed?
My bed is like, the most comfortable place, ever. Nothing could replace it. And therefore, my answer is definitely on the bed. It's just so comfy and set my mood to read!

#2 Male main character or female main character?
Male! As a female, it's interesting to see what's going on in their heads, even though they're only fictional. It kinda helps me to understand them a bit better.

#3 Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
I don't really eat while reading because I don't want my books stained by food, but if I have to, I'll eat something sweet like ice cream or cake 😁

#4 Trilogies or quartets?
Trilogies. As you guys know, I'm really bad at completing series. So the less the better. Also I think 3 books are pretty long to complete a series. My favorite series ever, The Infernal Devices is only 3 books long, but it was super amazing, and (in my opinion) it was better than The Mortal Instruments that has 6 books in the series.

#5 First person point of view or third person point of view?
Hmm.. This one is confusing. I prefer first person, because we could know what our mc feels and think, but we can't see other things in the story other than what our characters see. So...

#6 Reading at night or in the morning?
I tried not to read at night because I had school the next morning and my poor brain couldn't function with sleep deprivation. But if it's on a holiday (like now) I'm fine with it. I usually read in the morning though. It's just so comfortable that you don't have to move from your bed all day.

#7 Libraries or bookstores?
Bookstores! The smell of books, and the new shiny books are my favorite things! But really, the main reason is because I don't have local library nearby, so I have to use my school library which is kind of sucks since it doesn't have a lot of fiction books. And now I'm graduated I'm officially library-less.

#8 Books that make you laugh or make you cry?
Cry! I'm not an easy person to burst into tears, so when I cry because of books, know that those books are utterly amazing, and definitely an insta-favorite. The last book that made me cry was The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman.

#9 Black book covers or white book covers?
I prefer yellow really 😂 That color really grabs my eyes! But since it's black or white, I prefer black. It's just such a cool color when you put it on the bookshelf, and it doesn't get dirty easily. Especially if it's embossed with silver or gold patterns ❤❤❤

#10 Character driven or plot driven stories?
Definitely character driven. No matter how amazing the plot is, if I don't like the characters, I won't like the book. But if I do like the characters, no matter how crappy the plot is, I still might like the book. The main reason why I love The Infernal Devices so much is, aside from the amazing plot, is the parabatai relationship between Will and Jem, and just them as individual. The secondary characters are also amazing. In fact, all characters from that series would make you feel.

As usual, I won't tag anyone, but if you want to do it, feel free to do it!

  1. True that. Since we're girls, reading male POVs can be fascinating. My problem is I rarely connect to them :/ Great answers!

  2. Wonderful answers, Tasya! I'm the same with you for book series. It's sort of hard for me to keep up when another book releases in a year, and I forget what happened in the previous books (lol).

I love love LOVE sweets. So whenever I get the chance, I eat them while reading. :P It definitely SWEETENS the experience (haha).

    1. It's frustrating isn't it??? We have to re-read the previous books, which waste some reading time (unless we really enjoy it!). Oh the pun XD I never manage to come up with clever puns XD

  3. Love this tag! I am with you on the series one. The fewer books, the better so I would choose trilogies too. And I love books that make me cry! The more heartbreaking, the better. :)

    1. I know right, I think 3 books is long enough to wrap up a story XD I don't know why I like books that make me cry, I mean they hurt our feelings but we love them??? I think we just love them because they make us feel something :D

  4. I also prefer the male characters! They're really interesting to read about. Unlike you though, I actually read more at night and find myself more productive in reading at night! I feel like it helps me fall asleep easier too.

    1. If I read at night, it usually going to be a "just one more chapter" case and I'll end up won't get any sleep XD And I can't function in the next few days so I really try to avoid reading before bed (not that I've been succesful though!) XD

  5. I'm currently reading Clockwork Prince though I actually don't really like the first book. I kinda hate Tessa, the way I see it she wasn't supossed to act like that, I mean you are only guest, you are no one to them but an unique 'creature' popping out of nowhere..
Then my friend broght the second book to me and I couldn't help it and it's turning out amazinggg
I really like it this far, Will-Jem bromance really got to me TTTOOOTTTT

And lucky me, my school library don't really sucks, they even just got a lot boxes of new supplies, they even got complete box set of supernova series! Btw do you read original bahasa books?

    1. OH YES. THE BROMANCE DOES HIT THE FEELINGS LIKE A TRUCK. Beware, Clockwork Princess would rip your heart even more! My school also has the whole set of Supernova, but someone always borrows them.... I do! It's been a long time, but I do really enjoyed some I alread read. Autumn in Paris, 36oo Detik and Summer Breeze definitely hit the feels. (If you have read this book than you'll know I have tendencies for a certain type of ending....)
