September Wrap Up and October TBR

12:30 PM

So sorry for the lack of graphic because the website I use to create graphic is error and I just don't have time, energy, and idea to design a new one.

September was a great month in general, but not reading wise. I really enjoyed getting back to the routine and business that is education after 4 months doing nothing, but it also means I have other things to do when I get back. Consequently, I have to read most of my books in e-book format, but my reading pace with e-books is just so slow. Hence why I only read 5 books this month. Not exactly 5 really since I've read the Return of Sherlock Holmes since last month and I only have like 1 chapter left at the start of September.

  1. THE RETURN OF SHERLOCK HOLMES by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle // ✰✰✰.5
  2. CERITA CALON ARANG by Pramoedya Ananta Toer // ✰✰✰
  3. GIRL ON A WIRE by Gwenda Bond // ✰✰✰✰
  4. GIRL IN THE SHADOWS by Gwenda Bond // ✰✰✰.5
  5. THE ROMANTICS by Leah Konen // ✰✰✰✰.75
  1. TRIALS OF APOLLO: THE HIDDEN ORACLE by Rick Riordan // Tbh, my main reason to read this is solangelo, but I also can't wait to meet Apollo again haha!
  2. THE BEGINNING WOODS by Malcolm Mcneill // People disappearing? I'm in!
  3. THE MERCILESS by Danielle Vega // Been saving this book for halloween!
  4. DRACULA by Bram Stoker // One of the classic that I have been saving for these months.
I spy some halloween reading challenge strewn around the blogosphere, so further tbr would be decided according to those challenges!
Nothing interesting really happened this month... University is amazing, I loved it (except for physics and molecular biology IM IN TEARS) . My mom went somewhere with her friends and she brought some local food when she came back and let me tell you guys, I'M IN HEAVEN. I'm so happy.

Comic Con and Indonesia International Book Fair is on Saturday and Sunday, wish me luck that it doesn't dissapoint! This would be my second time going to IIBF, I went last year and I wasn't too happy with it so hopefully this year would be better!

I've been listening to a lot of music this month. Some of my favorites are Let Me Love You by DJ Snake ft Justin Bieber, Treat You Better by Shawn Mendez, Atlas by Coldplay and the Nutcracker Ballet.

Also, I've been thinking about a) moving to wordpress b) deleting my twitter bc I don't really use it anyway. I created twitter to join all the amazing bookish chats and keep up with the news, but I keep missing the chats because of timezones and just overall negativity from the drama that happened. What do you think?

  3. Congrats on starting uni! University life is the most exciting, emotional, and important time of my life :P What major are you in?

You NEED Trials of Apollo!! I absolutely loved it because Apollo is just super hilarious! That book is so entertaining :P also... new myth! Kinda confusing but great if you're into learning new stuffs. I hope once you settle with uni life, you could fully get back into reading! I read ebooks too because I didn't bring my books to my uni dorm hahah also, imported books in Bandung aren't as complete as in Jakarta. How did IIBF go? I really want to go to Big Bad Wolf this month but it's in Surabaya </3
